Delegation of Supreme Court of Canada judges concludes participation in Asia-Pacific Judicial Colloquium

Chief Justice Richard Wagner and his colleagues, Justices Andromache Karakatsanis and Suzanne Côté, were in Australia this week to participate in the Asia-Pacific Judicial Colloquium. Discussions covered a broad range of topics, with the Supreme Court of Canada leading conversations about the role of apex courts in increasing access to justice and the impact of Indigenous law on environmental law in Canada.

The Asia-Pacific Judicial Colloquium provides an opportunity to discuss issues of mutual interest on court administration and substantive law issues. The exchange occurs every 2 years.
