Archived webcasts

The first available webcast is from February 10, 2009. Courtroom proceedings are webcast unless there is a publication ban or other restriction.

Check the Court’s list of Scheduled hearings to find out when the Court will be sitting.

If you want to view an archived hearing but don’t know the date the case was heard, you can search case information to find the webcast of a particular case.

Webcasts and audio files of Supreme Court of Canada proceedings may not be broadcast to the public or be made available to the public in any form, except in accordance with the Copyright Act or with the written authorization of the Court. To request permission to use Court materials, fill out the Request to use Court photographs, webcasts or recordings.

If you are unable to view or hear webcasts for reasons related to accessibility, you can request transcripts of proceedings by contacting the Records Centre by telephone at 1-888-551-1185, or by email at records-dossiers@scc-csc.ca.
